Est La Salamora Country Lodge
Uruguay

In Depth
Est La Salamora has a variety of activities for guests, including 5 different horseback riding trails. While horseriding, we will share beautiful views from high points on top of the surrounding hills, the mystery of the native forest, its creeks, valleys and flora. Birdwatching is another must of our offer. Uruguay has more than 400 different types of birds, and it is very easy to find them in the forest.
We are the first eco-friendly ranch in Uruguay. We produce our own energy using the wind and the sun. We are also in two goverment programs to protect and recover the native flora of our forest.
Our guests become our friends, and that's the main idea of our ranch. You will feel like you are at home, just sharing the place with some new friends. Since you will be with local Uruguayan people, you will discover our unique and vibrant culture and enjoy eating wonderful meats, vegetables and meals that are homemade with area products and produce.
