Hold your horses for "Equitrekking" (7 p.m., KNME-Channel 5). Yeah, I had to say that. Indulge me.

The documentary series highlights some horseback riding fun right here in our fair state, including some in Corrales, Ruidoso and the Gila National Forest.

I've never been much of a horse fan myself because I don't like animals that are taller than me but any show that promotes New Mexico scenery, food and culture sounds good to me.

Yippee ki yay!
