Since 1967, Teen Ranch has established itself as an elite Christian Sports camp for kids. Teen Ranch offers customized programs for beginner to advanced levels in Horsemanship (English and Western), Hockey, Extreme Adventure, Soccer and BMX Dirt Camp. This kid’s camp offers beautiful surroundings, professional facilities, equipment and wonderful horses. The camp staff's experience is well-rounded and great for riders of any level. Camp staff are trained or certified according to Certified Horsemanship Association standards, an organization promoting safety, education and fun with horses.
Horse Related Camps and Retreats
Summer Overnight & Ultimate Day Campers, ages 8 – 18, choose from English Riding, Western Riding, Horse Mania or Intensive Equestrian Training programs. All campers, regardless of their program choice, can opt for a trail ride along with various other activities including swimming, a 60’ giant swing, water slide, climbing wall, jousting, archery, marksmanship, crafts, sports and many more!
Campers in English and Western Riding, beginner through advanced levels, enjoy a one hour riding lesson and other horse related activities in the mornings. English beginner riders start with the basics of position and control, while advanced riders will be challenged to perfect their jumping position, equitation and effectiveness on horseback. Beginner to advanced Western riding lessons range from basic position and control to barrel racing and other western events.
‘Horse Mania’ is a horse crazy camp for horse crazy kids of all riding levels. Campers have an amazing experience taking care of their own Teen Ranch horse for the week. As well as taking riding lessons and playing games on horseback each morning, campers are responsible for the feeding and grooming of their horse.
Intensive Equestrian Training is for the advanced rider looking to improve their success in the show ring. New applicants must be approved for this program.
Rodeo Camp is for campers who want to advance their skills in horsemanship, sportsmanship and overall western action sport competition. Hosted by an array of Ontario Rodeo champions, coaches and even accredited ProRodeo talent, the curriculum will include the fundamentals and techniques of Roping, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying and Steer Wrestling!
Trail Rides are offered to all campers daily regardless of what camp program they are in.
Day Campers (ages 5-10) have the opportunity to do up to 3 pony rides per week.
Spring Mother-Daughter Equine Escape is a wonderful VIP weekend for Mothers and Daughters to bond over their mutual love of horses. Along with an hour riding lesson, Mothers and Daughters also enjoy scenic trail rides, great food and accommodation, an inspirational speaker and a host of other options! Other Summer Camps
As well as summer Equestrian programs, Teen Ranch also offers guests ages 8 - 18 customized overnight and day camp programs for beginner to advanced levels in Hockey, Soccer, Extreme Adventure and BMX Dirt Camps.
Mornings are dedicated to camper's sport of choice. Afternoons are their chance to explore all Teen Ranch has to offer such as swimming, the 60 foot giant swing, rock climbing, trail rides, water slide, crafts, boating, marksmanship, archery, basketball, tennis, volleyball, jousting and more!
Exciting camp-wide games and unforgettable campfires fill the evenings. The campers then retire to their bunks after a fun-packed day.
Kid's ages 5 - 10 enjoy Day Camp with a ton of activities including pony rides, ice skating (unless indicated otherwise on the camp application), the 60’ giant swing, water slide, swimming, boating, jousting, climbing wall, crafts, games, story times and more.
Father/Son/Daughter Hockey Camp is an extra special weekend for busy dads to bond with their kids 7 years of age and up. This weekend consistently exceeds expectations in program, food and accommodation.
