Coolmine Equestrian Academy Dublin is a top equestrian training destination that provides youth camps during the summer and Easter holidays for teenagers, including training in dressage, cross-country, eventing and more. CEAD-Ireland has an Equestrian Academy with Eventing, training courses and English Language options. These exclusive equestrian camps offer the opportunity for a select number of students to train with top riding coaches and explore the Irish countryside on horseback.
Campers share the experience with other like-minded teens from all over the globe. Coolmine Equestrian keeps the numbers low to provide a personalized family orientated feel to the camps. Each student will stay in the Equestrian Academy with dormitory style accommodation fully supervised by a member of the team.

Intensive Eventing Camp- For more experienced riders, this includes 30 Hours in the Equestrian Academy per week, 7 nights residential accommodation, 3 meals per day with healthy snacks, horseback riding lessons and lectures in Show Jumping, X-Country and Dressage, informative lectures with farriers, equine dentists and chiropractors, supervised Internet access, evening group activities, 24/7 supervision and is specifically for teens who want to improve their skills in horsemanship, Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. Equestrian Irish Culture Camp- For internationally minded teens with an interest in mixing horseback riding training with Irish culture. This equestrian camp includes 15 Hours Equestrian Academy per week, 15 Hours Irish Culture Activities per week, 7 nights residential accommodation, 3 meals per day with healthy snacks, organized evening activities, informative lectures with equine dentist, chiropractors and farrier and more. Children’s Riding Holidays are designed for children and teenagers of all ages on school holidays. Parents are free to participate in riding activities with their children or spend some quality time with a spouse, small child, or take some time for themselves. Native language speakers are usually available and children are supervised at all times.
Kids stay in a large hostel style complex of spacious dorm style bedrooms. Each dorm room has an array of comfortable bunk beds varying according to the room size. Full board is included for the junior packages with healthy snacks throughout the day. All meals are designed by a Sports Nutritionist to allow maximum energy be generated from a healthy diet. This hostel accommodation is run by the Lynch family at CEAD-Ireland since 1994 and it has the warmth and friendliness of any family home. Breakfasts and Dinners are served in the adjoining canteen with Lunch provided in the Clubhouse Cafe.
Horse Camp Activities
Horseback riding lessons, training in Eventing, Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country, youth horse sport camps, informative lectures with equine dentist, chiropractors and farrier.
Other Camp Activities
In addition to horseback riding, teens get introduced to Irish Culture, may improve language skills and stay active while on holiday in Ireland. Other activities include Archery, Golf Pitch & Put, Arts & Crafts, Mountain & Forest Orienteering, Bush Craft Survival, Gaelic Games, Rounders, Football, Rugby, Mud-Run, Nature Walks, Miniature Olympics, Farm Challenge, Hill Walking and much more! Side trips may include a visit to the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Dublin City tours and more.
