Web Browser & Page Loading/Display Difficulties

We recommend using Firefox, Internet Explorer 6 or later, Safari 2.0 or Opera to best view Equitrekking.com. These browsers are available for free by clicking the links above. If you are using an older browser and are having difficulty viewing pages properly, please consider upgrading your current browser or trying a new one. Firefox is highly recommended for both PC and MAC users for the best possible experience on this site or any other.

Video & Audio Difficulties

Plugins are small, freely available programs that work with a web browser to display web content. At a minimum you will need the Macromedia Flash plugin to view video on Equitrekking.com. Additionally, Real Player and Quicktime may be required. These plugins are available for free by clicking on the links above. Most newer browsers have these plugins already installed. In most cases you will be automatically directed to the appropriate plugin site upon accessing footage your browser is incapable of displaying. If this happens, follow that website's instructions for proper plugin installation. Note, the Promo is available for viewing in Quicktime, Real Player and Flash formats. You may be able to view one and not the other. If you encounter an error when trying to watch the Promo, click the "back" button on your browser and try a different format. Xtra Treks are available in Real Player and Flash format. Real Player is recommended for all video on Equitrekking.com, as it provides the maximum audio and visual clarity with little distortion, motion artifacts, or other blemishes typical of streaming video.

You may be using a slow Internet connection. Though it is possible to watch the videos with a modem (dial-up, 28.8, 33.6, 56k/sec) connection, it may take several minutes for the clip to load. At a minimum, the video clips are 3 megabytes.
