T Bar M Outfitters has been in operation for 34 years and is the most trusted name in Southwest Colorado.

This tour operator offers Alpine horseback trips into the backcountry of the San Juan Mountains as well as Utah Canyon Land riding vacations. Emphasis may be on fishing numerous lakes and streams, wildlife observation or photography.

Weminuche Wildernes Horseback Trips: See this beautiful Wilderness the way it was meant to be seen from the back of a horse. Excellent fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and brook trout in spectacular alpine settings.
Utah Canyonlands Trailride: Explore ancient Anasazi Indian ruins, photograph awe-inspiring canyon formations that defy description. These Native Americans left behind a fascinating history told through the many ruins and petroglyphs that we are able to examine on these rides.
Continental Divide Ride: 100 miles from Wolf Creek Pass to Silverton, Colorado along the Continental Divide Trail. The most incredibly scenic horseback trips in the Colorado rockies.

Area Attractions

Southwest Colorado offers our guests an opportunity to explore the history of the Old West and the old Mining Towns in and around Durango. The Animas River offers some great white water rafting. This area is also home to; Mesa Verde National Park, Durango Mountain Resort, Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and the Colorado Trail.
