Helping Unwanted Horses- A Core Mission
While we are dedicated to providing you with a unique riding experience in New Mexico, another one of our special missions is rehabilitating abandoned and neglected horses. Tough economic times have created an over abundance of horse owners that can no longer afford to care for their horses. Thankfully, many have found their way into the caring hands of Walking 'N Circles Ranch and other horse rescues like them. So many horses come to the ranch emaciated and scared and it is the dedicated ranch hands that heal their bodies and spirits.
During our riding season, we foster horses from Walking 'N Circles where they will receive six months of solid riding and training which keeps them physically and mentally fit and better candidates for adoption. This is where we need you to help us log countless hours of riding in the varying landscapes of the southwest. Weather you are an intermediate rider on the back of our fostered horse, or riding along with us on one of our well-trained ranch ponies, come on out and enjoy yourself. We hope that by the end of your stay with us you will find a connection with the land, the culture, the horses and our mission. We hope by the end our season our horses will find their forever home.
