Black Mountain Ranch has been owned and operated by the May family for over 20 years, with a staff from around the world. Rather than a rigid schedule, Black Mountain Ranch offer activities in the most flexible way possible and wants YOU to choose what you want to do, when you want to do it, and whom you want to do it with. Familes are encouraged to ride together but also offer kids programs and activities. Teens will never be bored at Black Mountain Ranch. With so much to do, adults and singles will find the ranch is a great place to vacation.

Black Mountain Ranch owns all their horses and take pride in finding the right horse for each rider – whether it is a gentle seasoned mount for the novice or a more spirited ranch horse for the experienced rider. You have your pick of over 70 horses that will be saddled up for you and an expert guide to take you up mountain trails. And yes, you will be allowed to lope! It’s time to take a deep breath and relax. You are about to explore some amazing country. You are going to love it!

Homemade quiche with caramelized leeks, bacon & mozzarella, hash browns, orange french toast, oatmeal with dried fruit, bacon & sausage, scrambled eggs, blueberry muffins, lemon bread, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, english muffins served with homemade jams

Lunch Sample Menu:
Grilled flank steak sandwiches with caramelized onions, red pepper aioli and fresh arugula on warm baguette, chicken caesar club sandwich with grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, bacon, caesar dressing and romaine lettuce on ciabatta bread, spring mix salad with cherry tomato and cucumbers, house made ranch and balsamic vinaigrette, potato salad with fresh dill, grilled asparagus with lemon zest, french fries, fresh watermelon and cherries

Dinner Sample Menu:
Mixed green salad, heirloom tomatoes, fried goat cheese, cucumbers with housemade vinaigrette, braised lamb shank, slowly cooked with tomatoes and Moroccan spices, with creamy parmesan polenta, buffalo flank steak, smashed new potatoes with brown butter and fresh tomato salad, seared ahi, with summer succotash and balsamic glaze.
