Horseback Ride and Ski at Home Ranch in Colorado

From horseback riding in the snow to taking a morning sleigh ride to feed the horses, winter fun in Colorado at The Home Ranch.

Horseback riding in the snow is a dream for many travelers and with the nearly 300 inches of snow The Home Ranch receives each winter, you have plenty of powder through which to romp. Located 18 miles north of the Western town of Steamboat Springs in the stunning Elk River Valley, The Home Ranch is a Relais & Chateaux dude ranch, an elite collection of gourmet restaurants, boutique hotels, resorts and villas, meaning this ranch experience combines the great outdoors with luxury. Steamboat Springs, often called Ski Town USA, has produced over 70 winter Olympians and the 2010 Nordic Combined Silver Medal Team, making it a great place to learn to ski on a cross-country ski vacation or for more advanced skiers.
