April 16 - 24th Enjoy National Park Week Including Special Events

Wildlife Viewing, Horse Riding & History in America's Treasures

As I travel throughout the United States, I make it a point to explore America’s National Parks. It’s so great that these special places exist where everyone can enjoy the beauty of our natural world.

On Sunday on Create TV, we're hiking, horse riding and viewing wildlife in Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef in Utah, the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, Canyon de Chelly in Arizona, Kenai Fjords in Alaska, Haleakala National Park on Maui, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on Hawaii's Big Island, Cumberland Island in Georgia and Yellowstone in Wyoming.

It's great timing, as starting on April 16 for one week, there are no National Park entrance fees in honor of National Park Week, meaning you can explore great National Parks for free.

Watch the travel video promo for Equitrekking Great National Parks and decide where you want to go during National Park Week. Since there are 394 national parks, you have a lot of choices.

Some special events during National Park Week in the parks we highlight in Equitrekking's TV special include:

Bryce Canyon Full Moon Hikes - April 16

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Friends of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park Program, where you can help plant native species in the koa forest, April 16 & Kahuku - Ranger-led Hike - Kipuka'akihi to discover a remnant old-growth Kahuku forest April 17

Great Smoky Mountains National Park Junior Ranger Day April 16
